In no particular order : My 10 Favourite books of 2017

I absolutely loved this riveting psychological thriller, the plot is compelling and intricate and has more twists and turns than the river that flows near the cottage.I would love to give this book far more than 5 stars.Highly recommended by little old me.

It's a well written, gripping, twist packed mystery that had me hooked from the first word and totally engrossed by the riveting story that was unfolding before my eyes.I found myself changing my mind about who had done what and the final reveal was both surprising and shocking. This is the first book that I have read by this author and it most definitely will not be my last.

It's not a fast paced story but it does contain a couple of unexpected twists and some heart breaking moments towards the end.I really enjoyed this book and would happily recommend it to anyone who enjoys a well written, engrossing drama/thriller

Likeable hero and heroine, evil twisted villains, loads of twists, breath taking, nail biting danger, sinister spooky settings manipulation, deception and loads and loads of action. This gripping roller coaster ride grips you from the very first page and squeezes you tighter and tighter until you get to the end and are finally able to breath again.

This is a gripping, twisty thriller about relashionships, lies, revenge and control.I thoroughly enjoyed this riviting book and look forward to reading more books by this author in the future.

OMG,I was so hooked in by this gripping psychological thriller that when my hubby left for work at 6.30am this morning instead of just turning over and going back to sleep like I usually do I couldn't resist getting up,grabbing my kindle and finding out how this riviting thriller was going to end.Now I'm bitterly disappointed, not by how it ended but by the fact that I have finished the book.

This is a intense, thrill ride that had me hooked from the shocking first chapter and totally engrossed by the twisty tale that was unfolding as I frantically turned the pages. Spooky, creepy settings, very gory Inventive murders, loads of twists and a couple of laugh out loud moments,I would love to watch a film version of this book and would happily recommend it to anyone who loved the Saw films or a riveting, gripping thriller or if you are like me...someone who loves both.

It's a fast paced, roller coaster that has all the elements that you want a thriller to contain, danger, plenty of twists, lies, secrets and manipulation.Although the chapters are quite long there is just enough description to set the scene and no parts of the story come across as padding. It's a gripping page turner that had me hooked from the shocking prologue right to the unexpected epilogue.I enjoyed this book just as much as I did The Sisters and Local Girl Missing.Claire Douglas writes well written, engrossing thrillers and unfortunately now I have to endure the long wait for her next book.

It's a twist packed story that had me hooked from the first page and whipping through the pages as fast as I could because I wanted to know what was going on and how this brilliant page turning was going to end.

WOW,What a corker of a book, gripping story, believable untrustworthy characters and not just one but two totally jaw dropping unexpected twists.oh and the title is just ingenious, once you have read the book then you will understand what I mean.

I know I'm rather biased because I'm Chantelle`s mum but the stories in this book are very good, scary, twisted and quite scary at times. We have been telling her for years that she should get some of her stories published and now with a lot of help from her good friend Dimension Bucket readers can experience for themselves the weird and wonderful and sometimes terrifying world that is our daughter's imagination.

Although they are actually horror stories some could actually be short thrillers or prologues for a serial killer story. They vary in length, the longest one being the last one but they are all twisted, creepy and quite a few leave you wanting more.
