MY FAVOURITE BOOKS OF 2018 SO FAR
This is a fast paced,riveting thriller,a gripping tale about the power of a mother's love for her child and the recklessness and naivety of a innocent teenager.It's packed with twists,red herrings and numerous suspects.Very intense and creepy at times,it had me hooked in from.start to finish.This is definitely going to be one of my favourite books of this year.
I love Richard Parker`s books and really can't understand why they haven't been picked up and adapted into films.I'm so disappointed that I have finished Keep Her Safe because now I have the long wait for whatever he comes up with next.Keep Her Safe is absolutely brilliant and highly recommend to anyone who loves reading a gripping,action packed thriller.
I love this brilliant series.Jane Haseldine`s words flow from the page with ease,taking the reader into Julia`s world,making you want to invest your time in her story and leaving you emotionally drained but wanting more when you finish the book.As I said,I love this series and can't wait to find out what Jane Haseldine has planned for Julia`s next adventure.
This is a gripping,well written,page turner that had me hooked in from beginning to end.Actually,i was enjoying this book so much,i wanted to stay up and finish it last night but my poor old eyes had other ideas.Well worth more than five stars,this is definitely going to be one of my favourite books of this year.
From this Intreguing opening sentence the reader finds themselves drawn into a twist packed,gripping tale of infidelity,secrets,lies,manipulations,mistakes and betrayals.
The characters where a mixed bag of well developed,believable but mainly unlikable personalities.This is a well written,riveting thriller that had me hooked in from the beginning right to the end and oh boy what an jaw dropping ending
Opening with a intense,chilling prologue,this is a spine chilling,gripping,well written debut psychological thriller.The characters are vivid and realistic and the twists and turns really keep the reader guessing.I felt so many different emotions as the story unfolded including sadness,fear,intense hatred,anger and sympathy.I really enjoyed this heart string pulling thriller and look forward to reading more books by this author in the future.

It's a fast paced,riveting,well written tale of secrets,lies,social judgements,mistakes and misconceptions that had me hooked in from the first page.The tension builds as the story unfolds,you know that a confrontation is going to occur and when it does it is shocking and intense.The final chapters are ingeniously written,you really have to concentrate and follow the words carefully and the ending is definitely a OMG,WTF moment.This is the first book that I have read by this author and it most definitely won't be my last.

The story opens with a heart breaking prologue and contains characters that are vivid,realistic and mostly untrustworthy.Lorna and Nikki`s narratives are unreliable and the twists and turns really keep the reader guessing.There was one jaw dropping,mind blowing twist that almost caused me to drop my kindle in shock,I most definitely didn't see that twist coming.I absolutely loved this enthralling thriller,it's worth far more than five stars and I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future.

This is a riveting,enthralling psychological thriller that had me hooked in from the very first page,totally gripped by the twists and turns as the story unfolded before my eyes.The characters were vividly drawn and realistic.I absolutely loved this gripping story of deceit,manipulation,relashionships and forgiveness,it is definitely worth more than five stars.Due to some of the issues raised throughout the book,I think the story would cause some interesting discussions if it was read by a book group
This is a emotionally charged,twist packed tale of revenge,secrets,lies,manipulation and the sad fact that people don't really appreciate what they have got until it's gone.My anxiety levels went through the roof,I think I even forgot to breath at times as this well written,riveting story unfolded.This is definitely going to be one of my favourite reads of this year.
How's a girl supposed to choose from this little lot. I want to read them all!!
