This enthralling, character driven domestic drama/thriller is the gripping story of a women who is struggling to deal with her overwhelming feelings of grief and guilt after her perfect world is torn apart by a tragic incident involving her beloved young daughter Kelsey.Grief is a fundamental human emotion and different people have their own personal, unique way of dealing with their feelings. Much to Dana's horror, all the people that she should have been able to rely on for support including her husband Logan appeared to want to pretend that their daughter never existed, they just kept insisting that Dana needed to forget the past and move on. Then, just when Dana thought that her life couldn't get any worse, she learns a devastating secret that blows apart everything that she thought she knew about herself and causes her to push away the people that she should be able to rely on in her time of grief.

The story was voiced predominantly from Dana's perspective,a complex character who was understandably a mixed bag of conflicting emotions. I thought that the author's portrayal of her overwhelming feelings of grief, guilt and anger were very realistic. I can't say that I thought Dana was a very likeable character, actually I didn't think any of the main characters were very likeable for various reasons. Dana didn't appear to have any control over her own life, everyone around her just appeared to be able to manipulate and pressurise her into doing what they thought was best for her even if she didn't agree with what they were saying. And the one time that she actually stood her ground over something that was very important to her,Logan just went behind her back and went against her wishes. After witnessing the way that they tried to control her life,it wasn't difficult to understand why Dana found herself turning to her friends from the support group Melanie and Matt for support. They appeared to actually listen to her and offer helpful advice and understanding about her situation. But where they as trustworthy as they appeared to be or where they simply just manipulating Dana into trusting them for their own personal reasons?

Who Do You Trust is a,addictive thrilling read that has a cast of realistic characters most of whom were unlikable and untrustworthy. The story is a captivating blend of friendships, families and domestic drama. It's well written, tightly plotted, perfectly paced, keeps the reader guessing and has some unexpected plot twists and turns. I thought this was a very entertaining read and I would happily read more of this author's books in the future.
